We're based in Charlotte and provide non-medical in-home care across 10 North Carolina counties — the area our state license covers.
Home care is a logistics problem as much as a caregiving one. A caregiver who has to fight across the county in rush hour arrives late and leaves early — so we think carefully about distance, drive times, and matching caregivers with families they can actually reach, reliably, week after week.
The region isn't one place: bridge crossings over the Catawba, the long drives out past Wingate, the gap between an Uptown high-rise and a farmhouse outside Vale. Our service area is set by the state license, county by county — and within it, we'll tell you honestly whether we can cover your home well.

Why we exist
Almost everyone would rather stay in their own home. The familiar chair, the light through a particular window, the neighbor who waves in the morning. These are not small things. They are what makes a place feel like yours.
What usually pushes people out of their homes isn't one big event. It's the ordinary things getting harder, one at a time: the bath that no longer feels safe, the laundry that doesn't get done, the long quiet stretches of the day. We exist to help with exactly those ordinary things — so home stays home, longer.

Care is not a checklist. Two people needing help with the same task may need it in completely different ways — one wants company and conversation, the other wants quiet competence and no fuss. We do non-medical care only, and we say plainly what that includes and what it doesn't. No skilled nursing, no clinical treatment — and we'll tell you if what you need is outside our scope.
How our caregivers are selected
Every caregiver goes through screening, reference checks, and a background check before setting foot in a client's home. But checks alone don't tell you who someone is, so the last step is a real conversation: how they talk about the people they've cared for, and whether they'd treat your family the way they'd treat their own. Skills can be taught. Being there for someone, consistently and kindly, is what we hire for.
